Becoming a FIDI LIONS MEMBER connects you with a diverse group of professionals who enjoy networking and help where help is needed:
- Connect with leaders from all continents, cultures, and occupations
- Help our New York communities in needs and discover creative ways to meet them
- Help support our blind and visually impaired sports league and baseball team by giving free time to volunteer and help them when help is needed
- Expand leadership and professional skills
- Support the leaders of tomorrow by mentoring a young student at risk
- Rally together in times of natural disaster and other needs in our community
- Club members may either provide service or raise money for community needs
- Support the clubs activities and have fun.

Membership into LIONS is granted to those who have good moral character, enjoy fellowship and networking, and are willing and able to dedicate part of their free time to helping those in need, regardless of race, religion, and political views.
A new member must be sponsored by a Lions member in good standing and must be approved by the club’s Board of Directors.
Once you are approved as a Lions member, you are obligated to pay annual membership dues and a one-time registration fee to your club that is responsible for collecting the annual dues for Lions Headquarters, the Multiple District, District, and club dues.
Joining a Lions Club is by invitation, but applications are encouraged from all members of the community who are business owners, corporations, and professionals.
With a minimum contribution of $3.00 a week, you can be a proud member of a multinational organization "Lions Clubs International," the largest voluntary service organization in the world.
Our meetings are held once a month, and we encourage you to contact us to attend one of our meetings.
